How Can The New Energy Tax Incentives Benefit You?

If you're considering a home improvement project this year, remember that the energy tax incentives, included in the Emergency Stabilization Act of 2009 can help you save money. This legislation provides consumers with tax credits for making their homes more energy efficient.

Home improvement tax credits are available for insulation, replacement windows and doors, roofing, water heaters, certain high efficiency heating and cooling equipment and biomass stoves.

Home improvement tax credits are now available for home improvements from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009.
