Our December Client of the Month is Shane Loy. We first met Shane and his girlfriend Jodi at the Madison Area Builders Trade Show last January. While at the show, Shane showed interest in roofing, siding, remodeling and an addition. In the end, we ended up doing all of that!

For the addition and remodeling end of the project, we nearly doubled the square footage of his home. We did this by adding a living room and a huge master suite. We also completely remodeled the kitchen and dining area.

On the exterior of the home, we replaced the roof with Elk 40 Year Shingles in Weatherwood. From there, we replaced the siding with Vytec .046 Siding in Autumn Leaf.

Some of the features Shane and Jodi chose for their home also included, two new fireplaces with marble surrounds- one in the dining area and the other in the master suite. Beautiful maple cabinets with a Bordeaux finish for the kitchen, as well as solid surface countertops. Ceramic tile through the entry, dining and kitchen area, as well as the master bathroom, which is complete with a custom tile shower surround. In the master bathroom shower is a popular new feature by Kohler, body spray water tiles.

We understand that a project of this size can really displace any homeowner...especially when our crews have been at the Loy home through the whole summer. But, Shane and Jodi were most accomodating and great to work with!

Shane and Jodi were both very new to the whole remodeling process and really had no idea where to start in selecting flooring, fixtures, etc, but we helped them narrow their choices and select items that fit their tremendous taste and completed their project to be exactly what they were looking for! That reason alone is why we love the remodeling side of our business...it allows us to build a project from the idea stages through to completion. It is a great feeling to thrill our clients by taking their remodeling dreams from their mind and creating it in their home!
