Dan and Sue Drew, Poynette, WI - Kitchen Remodel

Dan and Sue Drew have been clients of Frey Construction for years! Our first project for the Drew's was to replace their windows a few years ago, and last year we completely remodeled their kitchen. This is their second time being featured as our Client of the Month!

Our most recent project for Dan and Sue was to finish off their laundry and craft room in their basement. We were so excited to be back, as we have so much fun working with Dan and Sue - and it is always nice to catch up with a past client! What was once a big open space at the bottom of their stairs is now a laundry room - complete with cabinets and plenty of counter space from Sauk Prairie Cabinets and a craft room for all of Sue’s scrapbooking and sewing storage needs! Star Flooring installed new laminate in the laundry room and carpet in the remaining spaces. Along with the doors for the new rooms, we changed out and re-trimmed all of their other doors in the basement so everything matches beautifully. We also installed a new drop ceiling with tiles that have a fresh, more modern appearance than the ceiling tiles they had prior to the remodel.

Working with past clients is one of the most rewarding aspects of our business, but something that feels equally as good is a referral from a past client- which brings us to our second client of the month, Mike and Cheryl Stapleton.

Mike and Cheryl were referred to Frey by the Drew's (they live directly across the street from one another.) Thanks to our referral program, the Drews received $150 since the Stapletons chose to work with us for their kitchen remodeling project. Mike and Cheryl wanted to completely update their kitchen, without changing the overall layout. Scott was able to come up with an idea that would give them some much needed additional space, while still keeping the layout the same. This involved re-working a doorway to the family room as well as the entry way to the garage. By doing so, it allowed us to add a tall pantry cabinet to the layout and give the Stapletons easier access to all of their other cabinets-especially the ones in the corners! We also installed new laminate wood flooring, oak cabinets, laminate counter tops and new Gorell windows.

It was such a pleasure working on these two projects... we feel like we've become part of the neighborhood thanks to the Drews and the Stapletons!
