As of April 22, 2010, federal law requires contractors that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities and schools, built before 1978 to be certified and follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.

That is why we have taken every measure to make sure that our crews are properly trained and equipped in dealing with lead based paint on our interior and exterior remodeling projects. Frey Construction has six certified Lead Safe Renovators on our team. These certifications were issued by the State of Wisconsin Dept. of Health Services. The rest or our team has participated in extensive Lead Paint Safety Training by our Lead Safe Renovators so that every person on our job sites is practicing the proper and safest handling of possible lead paint materials.
