The gutter is custom bent with the backside of the gutter remaining 1” higher than the front lip. In the Mid-West environment, it is common for gutters to become clogged with leaf debris, snow, ice, etc., but with the Absolute Gutter - and the back being 1” higher than the front, the water in your gutters would still be able to escape the gutter over the front, rather than submerging your fascia board and soffit.
